Dear Families,

On behalf of Saint John XXIII Parish, I'm thrilled to welcome you to Saint Lawrence School, which has faithfully served the city of West Haven and surrounding towns since we first opened in 1917. As we prepare to celebrate our 110th Year, we are confident that you will find our safe, welcoming, spirit-filled and academically challenging environment a great place for your children!

Our school's focus on the foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills will enable your child to become one of the many proud graduates who are prepared to faithfully serve our community with a commitment to the Gospel values that are instilled in our classrooms every day.  Our Pre-Kindergarten classes are head & shoulders above daycare, where our students are universally prepared to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond. If your child will turn 3 years old before September 1st, we encourage you to schedule a tour and apply for admission!

We value the strong connections we've fostered with Notre Dame High School, Sacred Heart Academy, and Lauralton Hall, as well as Albertus Magnus College and Fairfield University where many of our graduates have gone on to attend. We recognize that Saint Lawrence School is the first step in a life-long Catholic education. We are also proud of our strong collaboration with West Haven Public Schools, where we are able to provide free bus transportation to West Haven residents, nursing and Special Education services, as well as a healthy food service program for all students to ensure everyone grows in mind, body, and spirit.

We welcome children of all faiths, so we hope that you will take some time to explore our website, schedule a tour, and see how Saint Lawrence School has the ability to transform your child into a Future Leader of Tomorrow!
