Ways to give

St. Lawrence School’s alumni and friends are an outstanding group of people who are more than willing to assist others when called upon. Sometimes, though, people are unaware of how to help, or what is needed. With the unsettled economic environment, help is needed more than ever.

Now is the time to ensure current and future students are able to receive the excellence of a St. Lawrence education.

Here are some ways to help:

Sisters of St. Joseph Education Support Fund – This fund was set up to provide families with the financial assistance needed for tuition. This includes current families with demonstrable needs, as well as those who would like to become part of the St. Lawrence family but would otherwise be economically unable.

Father Curtin Educational Enhancements Fund – The Father Curtin Fund was
established to enable donors to give toward purchases that will enhance the school. These items include technology, security, math manipulatives, and more.

Annual Appeal –One hundred five years after opening, St Lawrence’s commitment to provide children with an outstanding academic education to all who would like one, while also providing the morals and teachings of the Catholic faith, remains. Tuition is set at a competitive rate, to assist families. Challenges remain, though, as the cost of operating the school – teachers’ salaries, utilities, maintenance and technology – exceeds the tuition income. The Annual Appeal assists in closing
that gap.

Named Scholarships – Annual scholarship donations of $1,000 or more may be made on behalf of an alumnus, family member, or graduating class. Please contact Bambi Grestini, Alumni Relations and Development, for more information at 203-933-2518.
